This week we talked about gamification in the classroom and how we as teachers can incorporate this into the classroom. For our group project we actually made a presentation on this topic and provided a bunch of different resources for gamification and making presentations interactive in the classroom. Some of them were Kahoot, WordClouds, Jam Board, Jeopardy, Blooket and more! These were all cool resources that teachers can use to bring technology into the classroom while making it engaging and interactive for students. We talked about how gamification and the different ways teachers use games to help or assist students in learning new material or to continue working on learned knowledge. It can be a great resource for teachers and even parents. Anyone can use these at home or wherever to keep learning and to practice what they’ve already been taught! You ca use gamification in elementary, middle or even high school grades which is what makes it so useful. I love the idea of gamification and I really enjoyed this class because it provided me my own little teacher tool kit for using gamification with lots of resources!
